Joshua Clayton Leeroy Nordby

Joshua Clayton LeeRoy Nordby passed from this life on June 3, 2023, at the age of 29.

Joshua was born on November 11, 1993, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Dennis DeWayne Nordby and Eddie Lee Irwin. Joshua grew up and attended school in Cleveland, later graduating with the Class of 2012. Following high school, Josh remained in Cleveland, worked several jobs, and was last employed by the City of Cleveland.

Josh enjoyed writing short stories as well as singing and playing the guitar. Josh was an avid gamer and loved playing Monopoly. Going hunting and fishing were also things he enjoyed doing.

Survivors are his mother, Eddie Lee Irwin of Cleveland, Oklahoma; six siblings, Ashely Gill, Lucas Vaughn, Nicholas Faulkner, Ally McCulley, Denny Nordby, and Kennadie McCulley; grandmother, Dana Maxwell and a host of other relatives and friends. Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Nordby.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 9, 2023, at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Edens officiating. The burial of the cremains will be held in the Fall of 2023.
