Joseph Arthur Le Blanc, III, known to his friends and family as Joe passed from this life on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the age of 68 years two months and twenty three days. Joe was born September 2, 1944, in Thibodeaux, Louisiana. He was the son of Joseph Arthur, Jr. and Marjorie Nell (Rexford) Le Blanc. Joe was raised in the Houma, Louisiana area where he attended school and later graduated from Terrebonne High School with the Class of 1962. Soon after high school Joe joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Omaha, Nebraska. Following his discharge Joe made his home in Houston, Texas. During his time in Houston, Joe gained employment as a radio announcer. He also established a band and sang at local events. Following his marriage to Vicki Ann Chauvin on February 1, 1971, the couple established their home in and around the Houma, Louisiana area. During this time Joe began working in the oil field and worked in many capacities on land, off shore as well as many places in Central and South America. Joe continued working in the oil field until 1976, at that time he began working for Johns Manville. He started driving a truck throughout the United States and Canada delivering insulation products for the company. In 1986, Joe returned to further his education and began attending Delgado Community College. In 1990, Joe completed his studies and gained the knowledge of aircraft part fabrication and immediately accepted employment with Tramco Bf Goodrich Aerospace located in Everett, Washington. Joe and Vicki continued to live in Everett until 1995, when they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. At that time Joe accepted a position with American Airlines where he was currently employed. In June of 2012, Joe and Vicki moved Cleveland. Joe was an avid aviation enthusiast and in the 1980ís, obtained his private pilotís license. He also loved spending time building model aircraft and loved spending time playing virtual reality war games on the computer. Joe, Vicki and their family would often take the camper and travel. Few of the locations they visited were the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Arizona, Carlsbad Caverns as well as many lakes and state parks in Oklahoma. One place you could guarantee Joe would always visit was an airport. He would often sit there for many hours just watching the airplane takeoff and land. Once Joe moved to Cleveland he purchased him a new riding mower and loved to get out and mow. Joe was very musically inclined. He loved going to the under privileged and nursing centers to sing with his friends. He was also a part of the Tulsa Praise Orchestra Choir which was formed in 2011.
