Johnnie Robert Kinnaird

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2007, in the Sanctuary of the Community Church with Pam Buzzard officiating the services. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.

Johnnie Robert Kinnaird was born January 27, 1947, in Sherwood, Oklahoma the son of Jody Louis Kinnaird and Irene E. (Lott) Kinnaird. As a young man Johnnie grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. After the completion of his education Johnnie started Anchor Roofing. Mr. Kinnaird was active in the day to day operations of Anchor Roofing employing up to 15 employees at the height of his business. On August 16, 1975, Johnnie was united in marriage to Barbara Carol (McGinnis) in Texarkana, Texas.

In the early 1990ís, Johnnie moved his company to Cleveland, Oklahoma. In 1996, Mr. Kinnaird retired due to health reasons. Johnnie loved fishing especially at Bear Creek near Cleveland.

Mr. Kinnaird passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007 in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years 11 months and 9 days. He was preceded in death by father Jody Kinnaird and step father Gordon Pigg as well as his brother Don.

Survived by his wife, Barbara Carol Kinnaird of the home; mother, Irene Pigg of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one son, Robert Kinnaird of Washington; one daughter, Rebecca Diane Kinnaird of Washington; one sister, Margaret Ann Infield of Barnsdall, Oklahoma; two brothers Mike and Tommie Kinnaird, one uncle, J.D. Lott of Dierks, Arkansas as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
