Joe Edward Laporte

Joe LaPorte, a resident of Cleveland was born August 31, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Kathryn JoAnne King and Bob Wayne LaPorte. He passed away October 3, 2005 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 48 years. Joe grew up in the Sand Springs Area. He began working for the City of Tulsa on July 15, 1980 as a operator of the Mohawk Water Treatment Plant where he had been employed for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents as well as his mother Kathryn King on Feb. 15, 2004.

Survived by his grandmother, Kathryn Hasbrouck, three brothers, John LaPorte, Bob LaPorte, David Banther, two sisters, Kathryn Spencer, Sandra Hamm, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be held Thursday October 6, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Sinnett Cemetery with services officiated by Rev. Andy Finch. Burial will be at Sinnett Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
