Gordon Wayne Leblanc

Gordon Wayne LeBlanc passed from this life on March 18, 2022 at the age of 64 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Wayne LeBlanc - a veteran of the Army National Guard - was born on June 5, 1957, on the Donaldson Air Force Base in Greenville, SC. His parents were Francis and Betty (Howington) LeBlanc. Wayne was married to Linda Diane (Sterns) Nichols from 1975-1976; he later met and married (1981-2016) Karen Iva (Brazil) LeBlanc in Columbia, SC. They remained in Columbia for a short time before moving to Tulsa, OK. While in Tulsa, Wayne worked as a groundskeeper at a local apartment complex (Lizard's Thicket). Wayne later began doing what he loved most: cooking in and managing a restaurant. They then moved to Brownsville, TX where he worked at the Sheraton Hotel as a chef before returning to Tulsa, OK. Wayne then accepted a position at the Western Steer in Tulsa where he worked for a couple of years before being transferred to North Carolina in 1987. In 1989, the family later moved to Spartanburg, SC where he worked in various areas of employment including restaurant positions. In 1995, they moved to Union, SC where he supported his family by being the head cook in a local, family-owned restaurant. In 2010, Wayne and his wife Karen returned to Oklahoma, moving to Hallett. On June 5, 2017, in Cleveland, OK, Wayne was united in marriage to Raye Ann Blaylock, and they made their home there.

During all of this, Wayne was enjoying good old-fashioned rock-n-roll.

Survivors are Raye Ann Leblanc (Spouse), Michael LeBlanc (Son), Stephanie LeBlanc (Daughter), Kara Baylock (Step-Daughter), three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Gordon was preceded in death by Francis LeBlanc (Father), Betty LeBlanc (Mother), Francis Anne LeBlanc (Sister), and Karen LeBlanc (Spouse).
