Garry Lee Dugan Jr

Garry Lee Dugan Jr passed from this life on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the age of 52.

Garry was born on June 21, 1970, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Garry and Juanita Dugan. Garry grew up and attended school in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where he graduated with the Class of 1989.

On December 29, 1990, Garry was united in marriage to Stacy Hill in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following their marriage, Garry and Stacy resided in West Tulsa for ten years until moving to the Keystone Lake area, where they have continued to reside since 2000.

Garry began working at Sinclair Oil Refinery in Tulsa in July 1997. The company changed names several times from Sinclair to Holly Frontier (Holly Energy Partners) and, lastly, HF Sinclair Corporation. He recently celebrated his 25th Anniversary, and he was a 4th generation employee at this refinery.

Garry was a successful micro racer from the mid-1980s until he retired from racing in 2000 at such tracks as Port City Raceway, Creek County Raceway, and Will Rogers Raceway. He won multiple championships and was a fierce competitor.

Garry loved living at the lake and spent as much time as possible with his family and friends on the water. He loved with his whole heart and lived life to the fullest.

Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Stacy; son Dylan Dugan; daughter Whitney Dugan; son Ryan Dugan (Timber Hammond); mom Juanita Sharpnack Dugan; sister Stacy McCage; mother and father-in-law Gene and Lessie Hill; sisters & brothers-in-law: Kelly Combs (Chris); Ashley Martin (Cayne); Trey Hill (Emmy Lou); lifelong friends, Kevin Hickson and Bobby Walker, and a host of other relatives nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Garry Dugan Sr.; his grandparents, Roy and Janice Sharpnack; and Kenneth and Mary Dugan.
