Frances Earlene McQuain, 83, of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed from this life on February 9, 2019, at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home.
 
Frances was born on August 7, 1935, in Blackburn, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of Earl and Lillie (Case) Roe.  Frances grew up and attended school in Blackburn, Oklahoma.  Following her education Frances remained in Blackburn and worked on the family farm.  On March 2, 1961, in Bristow, Oklahoma Frances was united in marriage to Billy Joe McQuain.  The couple established their initial home in Bristow where they remained until 1968.  At that time, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they raised their children.  Following the death of Billy Joe in 2002, Frances moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma to be closer to her family. 
 
Frances enjoyed growing flowers as well as sewing.  She also liked going to the mall, shopping for new unique flowers and plants as well as going with her family taking the grandchildren to the zoo.  Frances and Billy always enjoyed going to Freddies to eat.  Her favorite music to listen to was country and gospel music.  Her favorite musician was Elvis Presley. She was devoted to Native American School Foundations.
 
Survivors are her three children Austin Wells and his wife Tammi of Elk, Washington, Sherry Reynolds and her husband Jimmy of Blackburn, Oklahoma, Kay Walkup and Danny Driskell of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two sisters Audrey Vineyard of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Louise Killman of Blackwell, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and as well as others who called her grandma.  Frances was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Lillie Roe, husband Billy Joe McQuain, siblings Johnny Roe, Frankie Killman, Helen Singer and Viola Moles.
 
Services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chaple with Chaplain Terry Snelling officiating the services.  Burial will follow in the Blackburn Cemetery with Chapman-Black Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.  Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Frances at www.chapman-black.com.
