Funeral services for Dortha Dollie Cunningham, will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the Sinnett Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Cole officiating. Services are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Dortha was born December 20, 1921, in Keystone, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Sampson Marion and Vivian Eva (Freed) Zickefoose. As a young girl Dortha was raised in Keystone where she attended school and later graduated. Dortha was later united in marriage to Jerry Major Cunningham on October 27, 1940. Following the couples marriage they established their home in Keystone. In the mid 1950ís, Dortha accepted employment at Kerr Glass. In 1968, Dortha and Jerry built the home where she was currently residing. Dortha worked for Kerr Glass for many years before taking early retirement to help take care of her mother. Dortha enjoyed cooking. Her favorite thing to cook was fried chicken. It was also her families favorite. Dortha also spent many hours working in the garden and was very meticulous about her onions. Dortha and Jerry traveled some. One of their travels took them to Holland to see Charlotte and they also ventured to Switzerland. Dortha was also a very faithful member of the Keystone General Baptist Church for many years. Dortha went to be with her Lord and Saviour at her home on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the age of 92 years, seven months and seven days. Survivors are her daughter Charlotte Sullivan of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Doyle Gene Zickefoose of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one sister Cleora Marie Pace of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Charece Carson and her husband Duane of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Curtis Carrington of Cleveland, Oklahoma, two great grandchildren Ryan Carson of Mannford, Oklahoma, Colton Carson of Cleveland, Oklahoma, two great great grandchildren Peyton Carson and Boomer Carson both of Mannford, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents Sampson and Vivian Zickefoose, husband Jerry Major Cunningham, three brothers Willie Wendall Zickefoose, Edward Marion Zickefoose, Carl "Dude" Zickefoose and one sister Vivian Mae Studebaker.
