The children remember that Dorothy would always have special nights for them when Jack was away on business trips. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Wahoo and going to Branson, Missouri. For Dorothy, seeing the fall foliage as well as the Christmas lights were always enjoyable times. Jack and Dorothy enjoyed traveling together and were especially fond of road trips, their farthest being to Canada and Alaska.
