Debbie Hewitt, a life long resident of Cleveland was born January 12, 1954 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Paul Henry and Virginia Pauline (Burden) Day. Debbie attended schools throughout her life here in Cleveland with the Class of 1972. Debbie was united in marriage to Gary Hewitt in Cleveland on August 7, 1970 to their union there are three children Nathan, DaShea and Hank. In February of 1988 Debbie and Gary purchased the Country Store on North Broadway which they have operated for the past 14 years. Debbie loved to be with her family and play with her grandchildren. She enjoyed to work cross word puzzles collecting coffee cups and being around her many friends and family. Debbie also was very fond of the prominent ìGuardian Angelî.

Debbieís father Paul Day preceded her in death. Surving are her husband Gary Hewitt of the home; children Nathan Hewitt of Long Beach, California; DaShea Standridge of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Hank Hewitt of Cleveland, Oklahoma; mother Pauline Day of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two brothers Leon Day of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Tim Day of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Tyler and Kylie Standridge as well as numerous other relative and friends.

Debbie passed away May 18, 2003 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years 4 months and 6 days.

Memorial services will be held May 23, 2003 at 2:00 pm at First Assembly of God officiated by Rev. Dan Edens burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
