VAUGHAN, David Wayne of Terlton, Oklahoma, age 59 died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Saint Francis Hosptial. David was born November 24, 1954 the son/daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and RaMona ((Hays)) Vaughan. He was a graduate of class of . He worked at for years. David Wayne Vaughan was born November 24, 1954 in Enid, Oklahoma at St Maryís Hospital. He was the son of Arthur and RaMona (Hays) Vaughan. David was raised and attended school in Enid, graduating with the Enid High School Class of 1972. After graduation, David accepted employment with Sturdevant Sheet Metal and Roofing as his father, Art was a superintendant for the company. The family traveled all over the country installing roofing projects for the United States Government, including the White Plains Missle Range and the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant, a smokeless powder and propellant manufacturing facility in northwest Johnson County, Kansas, south of De Soto, Kansas. After the retirement of his father in 1979, David relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he accepted a position as a roofing inspector for Dalbec Roofing. After over fifteen years of service, David returned to Oklahoma in2008 to assist with the care of his father. VAUGHAN, David Wayne of Terlton, Oklahoma, age 59 died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Saint Francis Hosptial. David was born November 24, 1954 the son/daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and RaMona ((Hays)) Vaughan. He was a graduate of class of . He worked at for years. .Survivors are his mother, RaMona Ruth Vaughan, Terlton, Oklahoma brother, Vernon Lee Vaughan and wife, Phyllis of Terlton, Oklahoma sister, Linda Ruth Pierce and husband, Garry of Enid, Oklahoma RaMona Ruth Vaughan nee (Hays), Terlton, OK. He was preceded in death by brother, William Vaughan Arthur Lee Vaughan. Service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 Am at First Methodist Church in Mannford, Oklahoma with David Rowdy officiating.
