Funeral services for Cesario Garcia, Jr., known to his friends and family as Pee Wee will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Charles McGrew officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Pee Wee was born February 10, 1943 in Campbellton, Texas the son of Cesario and Santos (Llamas) Garcia, Sr. As a child Pee Wee grew up on the 7 PL Ranch as well as the Arrow S Ranch. He began his education in Campbellton and completed his education in Pleasanton. After the completion of his education Pee Wee began working on the pipeline with his brothers. During this time he traveled to many places and later began working on the Keystone Dam. After the completion of the Keystone Dam, Pee Wee returned working on the pipline and later returned to Cleveland where he met the love of his life. On March 16, 1968, Pee Wee was united in to Paula Dellene Stroud. The couple established their intial home in Sapulpa. After several years they moved to their current home in Cleveland. During the time Pee Wee was operating heavy equipment his job has taken him to many places throughout the United States as well as Mexico and Kuwait. Mr. Garcia was a man that loved his family dearly. He was espeically paritial to his grandchildren. Pee Wee was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 627 and a Master maston of the Hebron Lodge 215. Pee Wee taught Sunday School for many years and was a Trustee of the church. He also helped provide a bus ministry during his time in Sapulpa. Pee Wee enjoyed working in his yard especially tending to his flowers. He also grafted many pecan trees. His family described Pee Wee as a perfectionist as well as proud of himself and family. He also received great enjoyment spending time with his family and grandchildren. On Sunday, August 2, 2009, Cesario Garcia, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 66 years old. Survivors are his Paula of the home, one son Joel Garcia of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tawnya Thomason of Cleveland, Oklahoma, one brother Joe Garcia of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sisters Felicia Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Lucy Caballero of Campbellton, Texas, Mary Louise Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, two grandchildren Della and Jayden as well as a host of other relatives and friends that mourn his passing. In addition to his parents Pee Wee was preceded in death three brothers Abelardo Garcia, Manuel Garcia and Richard Garcia.
