Carolyn Ann Lynch

Carolyn Ann Lynch went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, ten months and two days. Carolyn was born May 22, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jack B. and Antonie (Peters) Runnels. Carolyn was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later graduated from Will Rogers High School with the Class of 1968. Following graduation Carolyn furthered her education at Northeastern State University. After completing one year in college Carolyn returned to Tulsa. She worked at several places prior to gaining employment with Citgo where she worked as a secretary. On September 14, 1985, Carolyn was united in marriage to John Duncan Lynch in Benton County, Arkansas. Following their marriage Carolyn and John established their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They later moved to Austin, Texas where they remained until 1989. At that time they returned to Tulsa. In 2000, Carolyn gained employment with MicahTek. She worked as phone representative providing a broad spectrum of information management. Carolyn was a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She loved being around her family. Family was one of the most important parts of her life. Saturdays was a very special day for her. This allowed her quality time to spend with her family and hang out with her friends Judy, Janey and any others that were available. Carolyn felt that some of her greatest accomplishments were her 27 years of marriage, raising her children and 13 years of work at MicahTek. Carolyn and John spent many hours traveling to antique shows and sales. They would spend many weekends and vacations collecting dolls, toys, dishes, tea sets as well as numerous other antique pieces. The most fun that she had was the times on vacations to Branson and taking their children to outdoor concerts featuring 50ís and 60ís music as well as going to the Tulsa State Fair. Carolyn loved to sit with her family sing and do silly things which would make everyone laugh. Survivors are her husband, John Duncan Lynch of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three children Jacqueline Kelly Black of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dean Lynch-Bruner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Travis Lynch of Perkins, Oklahoma; two step children Carol Hal of Elgin, Texas, Todd Lynch of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Logan Black, Johnny Lynch, Haylie and Lexie; two step grandchildren Hayden and Macy and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack B. and Antonie Runnels.
