Caroline Denise Hughes

Caroline Denise Hughes of Cleveland was born April 24, 1961 in Fresno, California to Ovid Gyenne and Shirley Ann (Moore) Bruce. Caroline moved to Tulsa at a young age and where she attended school. She later moved to South Carolina, Memphis, Tennessee and later in the early 1980ís returned to Tulsa. Upon returning to Tulsa Caroline accepted employment at Name Brand Clothing in the warehouse as a supervisor. In 1992 Caroline moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. On October 16, 1993 she was united in marriage to Mark Kelly Hughes at their current home.

Caroline had a very unique sense of humor and spent countless hours fishing and preparing food for her family. She also had unconditional love for anyone and everyone she met. Some of Carolineís greatest inspirations are the Lord; which helped her throughout her daily life and problems. Caroline loved being with Mark, her children as well as other family and friends. Caroline always looked forward to the summers so that she could spend that quality time with her grandchildren at the pool and jumping on the trampoline. She had many sayings and a couple of them are ìForever and Longerî as well as ìMuwahî. Caroline was also a member of the Westport Baptist Church.

Caroline passed away Monday June 6, 2005 in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years 1 month and 12 days.

Surviving are her husband Mark of the home; children Christy Dawn Willard and her husband Jason LeForce of Mannford, Oklahoma; Tracy Lynn and her husband Johnny Aguirre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jerusha Beth Hughes of Seneca, Missouri; Roger Dale Willard of the home; parents Ovid and Shirley Bruce of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters Sharon Ann Bruce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kathy Ellen Tatum of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two brothers Ovid Brian Bruce of Turley, Oklahoma; Orville Lee Bruce of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jerrad Wayne Willard of Mannford, Oklahoma; Julia Dawn Willard of Mannford, Oklahoma; Jessica Ann LeForce of Mannford, Oklahoma as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 10, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Lake Area Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Conn officiating. Burial will follow at Sinnett Cemetery in Keystone, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.

Pallbearers include Bill Hughes, Mike Tatum, Robert Whaley, Johnny Aguirre, Jason LeForce, and Roger Willard.
