Bruce Allen DeLay passed from this life on December 4, 2021, at the age of 63, in Joplin, Missouri.
Bruce was born on August 5, 1958, in Long Beach, California, the son of Clarence Alfred "Dutch" and Imogene (Young) DeLay. At a young age the family moved to Cleveland, OK where he began kindergarten; later moving to Tulsa where he graduated from Nathan Hale High School with the Class of 1976. Following high school Bruce attended Ozark Bible College graduating in 1980. In 1977, Bruce and Cynthia Louise Spess, both working as sponsors at Cyokamo Christian Camp, began a camp romance that lasted 44 years. Two years later on May 19, 1979, Bruce and Cindy were united in marriage at the First Christian Church in Cleveland. He began his calling as the youth minister at Town and Country Christian Church in the fall of 1977. Bruce and Cindy moved to Oklahoma City in 1980, where he was the associate minister at Northside Christian Church, later accepting the senior minister position where he served until 1987. Bruce then moved his family to Marshall, Texas where he served at the Church in Marshall until 1998 when he and his family moved back home to Cleveland.
After thirty years of traveling and pastoring churches across the country, Bruce found a way to cut through religious red tape and communicate Truth via Conservative Talk Radio. Having hosted his own LIVE call-in Shows on the local FOX News affiliate for 6 years, Bruce worked as a designated fill-in for that station, while participating with Truth in Focus Internet Radio on several levels.
As a longtime martial artist, Bruce knew that important things are worth fighting for. "It's time for Talk-Radio to be more than Talk. The passion for truth should be accompanied by corresponding Action." Religion just doesn't cut it anymore. People need Reality. People need to be involved in the process of making a difference. It's time to take our Faith out into America and storm the gates of Hell.
"A dark force has hijacked too many Churches in America. It's time for Americans to get back to their Christian roots, and for the religious people to get off their pews, come out of their stained glass fortresses, and get involved." A husband, father, and grandfather, Bruce worked to make Christian Conservatism relevant to everyday life. "It's time to talk about taboo subjects. When you tuned in to Heartland Headquarters, you found religiously-incorrect talk radio".

Bruce established Church in the Heartland in 2006 where he was currently serving, working with men and women leading them to the Lord through discipleship. "Evangelism without Discipleship, is not a fulfillment of the Great Commission."-Bruce DeLay
Bruce was involved in many organizations in the Tulsa area including City Elders, OK2A, Color Free (Crime Free) America and many more. He formed the local Patriot Pastors in Tulsa, educating pastors on current issues at hand. In 2019 Bruce opened the doors of the Tulsa Liberty Center guiding the Church in government, business and reformation, hosting many teachers and speakers addressing and educating the Church.
Survivors are his wife Cindy of the home, five children Whitney Carol Samerinezhad and Dustin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kendal Grace Christmon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mallory Danielle Reed and Brady of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Eric Michael DeLay and Claire of Bixby, Oklahoma, Kyla Marie DeLay of Tulsa, Oklahoma; siblings Mark DeLay and Linda of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Terrie Scott and Jim of Collinsville, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Sloan, Andrew, Annasten, Deegan, Harrison, Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Clarence DeLay and Imogene DeLay, and his mother-in-law Mary Sue Spess.
