Beverly Ann Perry, 79, known to most as “Bo,” passed from this life on September 4, 2019, at her home in Osage, Oklahoma with her daughter holding her hand. Born June 24, 1940, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, Bo was the daughter of Roy Dale and Agnes Janice (Hooks) Sharpnack. Attending Cleveland Schools, Bo graduated with the class of 1959. On November 17, 1973, Bo was united in marriage with William Theodore “Ted” Perry. The couple established their home in Osage, Oklahoma. When the couple would take road trips, they would go to Arkansas to see Ted’s family.
Bo loved to crappie fish and being at Hominy Lake. She would shop on QVC and go to garage sales. When she would watch tv, she would watch game shows, the Young and the Restless, and News on 6. In her spare time, she would make up songs for the grandkids. Bo’s family describes her as beautiful, very special, and her kid’s hero. In the evenings, Bo would go for drives with her dog, Buttons. When it came to Bo and food, she loved mashed potatoes & gravy or cheeseburgers.
Survivors are her three children Roy Sanders and his wife Debbie of Osage, Oklahoma, Tammy Dobson and her husband Tommy of Osage, Oklahoma, Kimball "Goober" Sanders of Osage, Oklahoma; two brothers and their wives, Bob and Lois Sharpnack of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Dale and Lois Sharpnack of Hominy, Oklahoma; six sisters, Sharon and Jerry Lemmons of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Janie Hill of Hominy, Oklahoma, Linda and Frank Willcox of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Nita and Garry Dugan of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Debi Jeffries of Luther, Oklahoma , Carol Southern of Pawnee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Heather and her husband J.W. Day of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Nick and his wife Jennifer Sanders of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Chief Petty Officer Chris, USN and his wife Mileah Sanders of Middletown, Rhode Island, Misty Blue and her wife Athena Blue-Crutchfield of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Brad and his wife Candice Sanders of Osage, Oklahoma, Jolena Sanders of Lawton, Oklahoma ; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandsons and numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.
Bo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother DeWayne “Hiney” Sharpnack, infant daughter Diane Sanders.
Visitation will be held for Bo on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM at Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2019, in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Logsdon officiating.
