Arlo Martin Hamilton was born on May 24, 1936 in Isabella, Oklahoma the son Scotty and Ruby (Martin) Hamilton. Arlo was raised and received his education in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Central High School. After the completion of his education Arlo accepted employment with Pepsi in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a route salesman. Arlo worked for Pepsi for many years and was the leading salesman numerous times for the company. Arlo was later united in marriage to Carol Ingalls in Bentonville, Arkansas on February 24, 1975. The couple later moved to Cleveland where they have continued to reside. Arlo later began working for Charlie Dell operating heavy equipment and also worked for Red Dot for several years. Mr. Hamilton then accepted a position with UCAT in Tulsa, Oklahoma which later became Rogers University in the maintenance department. Arlo continued with Rogers State University for many years until his retirement. Mr. Martin was a very private person and enjoyed spending time tending to his yard and home. Arlo passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 at his home in Cleveland at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by father Scotty Hamilton as well as a infant sister. Survivors are his wife Carol of the home, two daughters Karen Jones, Catherine Hamilton; mother Ruby Irene Sharp-Hamilton; three brothers Jim Hamilton, Gary Hamilton, Scotty Hamilton; one sister Sue Perrier and a host of other relatives and friends. No formal services were held and burial was in the Woodland Cemetery on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
