Albert Lee Campbell, Sr.

Albert Lee Campbell, Sr., was born March 22, 1944 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Walter Lonnie Davis and Ethel Corrina (Tudor) Campbell. As a young man Albert grew up in Southeastern Oklahoma. In the early 1960ís Albert moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. While residing in Tulsa Mr. Campbell worked at several different jobs. In the mid 1980ís Albert moved to his current residence in Terlton. On February 21, 2007 Albert was united in marriage to Karen Holloway in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Mr. Campbell was a man that would help anyone in need. He was also an avid coon hunter and enjoyed raising Red Tick Hounds. Many people knew Albert for raising the best butcher hogs around. Most of all Albert enjoyed being with his family and friends. If it was a cold night you could always bet on Albert in the woods with his hounds and friends on the hunt for that perfect coon.

Albert passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007 at his home in Terlton at the age of 63 years and 27 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Johnnie, Herb, and Oscar as well as one sister Hattie.

Survived by his wife, Karen Holloway; two sons, Albert Campbell, Jr. of Terlton, Oklahoma; Randy Holloway of Terlton, Oklahoma; two daughters, Daniele Harrell and husband Doug of Talala, Oklahoma; Ranah Richter and husband Justin of Catoosa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Geraldine Wells of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Pauline Sumner and husband Ira of McAlester, Oklahoma; Lily Wright of Cushing, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Dustin, J.B., Blaze, Elijah, MacKenna, Nicolas and Misty; three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday, April 23, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel officiating will be Rev. David Head.
