Adrian Dean Eddings passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years and 20 days. Dean was born March 27, 1949 in Hominy, Oklahoma; he was the son of James Alder and Ruth Wilma (Bond) Eddings. As a young child Dean attended school in Hominy and grew up in the Hominy area. At the completion of his education he began working for Alpha Construction in Hominy installing telephone lines in the region. Dean was soon drafted in to the service of his country and was honorably discharged on June 18, 1969. Following his discharge Dean returned to work for Alpha in Hominy and later gained employment in the construction business building pipelines. Dean has worked throughout the United States installing pipelines and was currently a inspector. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially loved squirrel hunting. One thing that Dean loved to eat was fried squirrel. He also loved to spend time going to Clicks in Pawnee to eat. Survivors are his four children Monica Dean Eddings of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Kimberly Ann Eddings of Anchorage, Alaska, Dean Eddings, Jr. of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Rachel Marie Eddings of Cleveland, Oklahoma; six siblings Wayne Eddings of Osage, Oklahoma, John Eddings of Hominy, Oklahoma, Verna Haught of Osage, Oklahoma, Sarah Eddings of Tybee Island, Georgia, Steve Eddings of Osage, Oklahoma, Mary Ross of Prattville, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. In addition to his parents Dean was preceded in death by his five siblings Charles Parks, Clara Belle, Cozetta, Gladys and Jimmy Eddings. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Osage Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
