Dorothy Moore

Dorothy Belle Moore, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

A native of Cleveland, Oklahoma, she was born October 9, 1931, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Howard Norman and late Mary Ellen Morgan. She was a homemaker most of her life, and a devoted mother to her 6 children. She worked periodically as an administrative assistant and an office manager for an ophthalmology office, and was a member of the Junior League. She was a devoted Christian and had a strong faith in God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Norman and Mildred Anthony, and her son Jonathan David Moore. She is survived by her husband Thomas Dickson Moore, her children, Mary Beth Moore, Jennifer Moore Reynolds (Bill), Chris Moore (Cheryl Lynn), Tom Moore, and Sara Moore Orthober (Jason), her grandchildren James Moore, Melissa Moore (their mother Kimmerly Moore Parker), KelliAnne Moore, Kensington Moore, Nissi Grace Moore, Jack Orthober, Sam Orthober, and her great grandchild Cyrus Moore-Ezell.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
